Rent North East

A local property team when you live elsewhere

You do not have to live in the North East to own a rental property here. We help owners elsewhere in the UK and overseas with letting, tenant communication, inspections and maintenance coordination.

Keep informed from a distance

We provide practical updates, explain decisions that need your approval and coordinate local attendance. Tell us your preferred contact method and any time-zone restrictions.

The records still matter

We need the same property, ownership, tenancy and compliance information as we would for a local landlord. If you are based abroad, tell us so the relevant tax administration can be considered. We do not provide personal tax advice.

Already managed by someone else?

We can review the current arrangements and help plan a transfer. You do not need to travel to the area just to start the conversation.

Owners based across the world

We manage properties for clients who live across the UK and overseas, including:

Across the UK; in France, Germany and Italy; in Jordan, Israel and Dubai/UAE; in China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Thailand; in Canada and the USA; and in Australia and New Zealand.

The aim is to give you a clear view of the property while reducing the work you have to handle yourself.

Questions from remote owners

Can you manage a property if I live overseas?

Yes, we can discuss remote management and your preferred contact arrangements. Tell us where you are based so relevant administrative requirements can be considered.

How are repairs approved?

We follow the authority agreed with you. We coordinate quotes or approval where required and act within the agreed emergency arrangements when an urgent issue cannot wait.

Can I move from another agent while the property is occupied?

Often, yes. We first review your current agency agreement, tenancy records and proposed handover. Notice periods and outstanding work need to be considered.
